The Fan Zone opens its doors with the first match of the tournament on June 14 and will be open for the entire duration of the tournament: from June 14 to July 14, everyone can look forward to the opening match on the first match day, which will be played by the German national team, who automatically qualify as hosts of EURO 2024. The public viewing dates vary, as they depend on the match schedule.

Unlike in the past, the Fan Zone is an experience for everyone. In addition to public viewing with up to 40,000 soccer fans, there are two other areas on the site that are unique in Hamburg and beyond. The centerpiece is the Football Village, which is open on all 22 match days. Here, all matches are shown on screens and you can look forward to a festival with a stage program, a beach club with sun loungers and a DJ, a Ferris wheel and much more. The second area is the arena: the focus there is on soccer, but in all its facets. For example, there will be blind soccer and senior tournaments, and school classes will also compete against each other. "United by football", the motto of UEFA EURO 2024, will be lived out in the Arena Hamburg. Good to know: All areas of the Fan Zone are free of charge.
