URBÄNG! 2025 URBÄNG! the festival for performative arts is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Free Trade Zone this year. A good reason to invite outstanding international favorite artists and heartfelt pieces to celebrate the power and relevance of the stage and the shared here & now with our audience. Curated by A.TONAL.THEATER, Futur3, MOUVOIR and WEHR51, URBÄNG! offers a packed program from 12-15 February in the Alte Feuerwache. The theater stage and exhibition hall will be transformed into an international stage. In addition, workshops, a cinema program, performative miniatures, VR installations, a "jungle bar", concerts and exciting discussions will enliven the festival grounds. Among those invited are Aurora Bauzà and Pere Jou from Barcelona, Theater HORA from Switzerland, RambaZamba Theater from Berlin, the Ivorian-French choreographer Nadia Beugré, the choreographer Trajal Harrell (USA/Switzerland) and others.
