Verlag Rotscheibe, founded in summer 2020 at Rotscheibengasse 5 in Würzburg, is a commercial venture by two young people with few resources. We realize art and cultural projects with the fundamental aim of taking up space. We shape this space with our program for a solidary and diverse art and culture business. We see it as our social task to convince employees, artists, readers and event organizers of the value of small-scale art and cultural enterprises. We reject competition with victory through the size of the marketing department or "traffic" through populism. This takes time, which we dedicate to each of our projects. That is why we do not publish in a rush and instead focus on selected works - a kind of "slow publishing".
