Inspired by the Classic Album Sundays in England, the vinyl album is publicly honored as a work of art in a Berlin cinema. Once a month, music journalist Jörg Wulf presents curated programs at Vinylrausch, in which rock, pop and jazz albums are classified in terms of music history, played and listened to loudly and completely.

The dark cinema room guarantees full concentration on the music, the high-quality hi-fi system guarantees unrestricted musical enjoyment and the concert-like volume makes the special dynamics of the analog vinyl pressing audible in addition to the musical subtleties.

With Vinylrausch, the album is once again taken seriously in the form in which the artists themselves finally heard it: with loud and quiet passages, with fast and slow songs, with A and B sides. An entire album that forms a unity with its highs and lows that is hardly perceived in this way today.
