The Werkleitz Festival 2026 will take place from July 2 to 12, 2026 at the Puschkinhaus in Halle (Saale). Sooner or Later focuses on the exchange between generations and brings the topic of time into conversation through a participatory exhibition and film program.

Over the next four years (2026-2029), Werkleitz will focus on the complexity of time. Attempts to slow down, generational conflicts, prehistoric and ancient times and future futures will be explored artistically, discursively, on excursions through the state and through creative participation formats.
