The "Wissenschaft der Spiritualität e. V." is an international, non-profit organization with 2648 meeting centers worldwide, of which around 60 are in Germany. Its headquarters are in Chicago, USA, and Delhi, India. The organization is chaired by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj. The organization works on a voluntary basis for inner and outer peace and for a vegetarian way of life, for a culture of non-violence, equality, solidarity, truthfulness and tolerance. To this end, it organizes lectures, meetings and meditation courses. The offers are free of charge.

If one were to describe the tasks and goals of the Science of Spirituality in a few words, one would say: spirituality, peace and service.

By spirituality we mean the search for the meaning of life, the rediscovery of our soul in its true divine nature and the realization that we are conscious spiritual beings created in the image of God. We do not gain this knowledge through intellectual reflection, but through our own experience, by going inwards in meditation and having these experiences ourselves. In all holy scriptures we can find the statement that this is the deep meaning and fulfillment of life. True and lasting happiness only comes when we reflect on our true nature as spiritual beings.
