Founded in 1994, jazzopen has become one of Europe's leading jazz & beyond festivals in 30 years. Under the motto "Be Jazz, be Open", the festival presents international artists from the jazz, blues, soul and pop scene over 11 days and on 4 main stages - Schlossplatz, Altes Schloss, BIX Jazzclub and SpardaWelt Eventcenter - transforming the state capital into a hotspot for music fans with around 50,000 visitors.
