In the artist's words:

From gently dreamy to virtuosically groovy, from classical to jazzy, from Celtic folk to klezmer and world music - guitarist & songwriter Benjamin Haupt and violinist Thomas Buffy are two musicians who explore the possibilities of playing together as a duo at every opportunity and allow their wide-ranging musical roots to enter into an exciting dialog.

After five years as Duo Infernale, they have invited Sabrina Damiani (double bass) and Daniel Feldmeier (drums) to join them for the production of the album "Der vielsaitigsten Eine" . With a touch more groove and a spark more depth, the duo's well-known and unheard compositions are dressed in new quartet garb - full of intensity and musical sophistication - without losing the intimacy and charm of the acoustic line-up.

On the CD "Der vielsaitigsten Eine" you can hear the typical duo 10Saitig oeuvre: touching original compositions and songs between klezmer and Irish folk, gipsy jazz and Balkan rhythms through to songs in the singer-songwriter tradition.
