Aiki Mira (no pronouns) lives in Hamburg and writes novels, short stories and essays that deal with new, different forms of
togetherness, bodies and queer speculative futures.

Aiki's short stories have been awarded the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize and the German Science Fiction Prize several times. Translations into French, English and Chinese have already made them internationally accessible.

Aiki received the Chrysalis Award from the European Science Fiction Society.

With the novels Neongrau, Neurobiest and Proxi , Aiki won the Kurd Laßwitz Prize for the best German-language science fiction novel three years in a row.
