Aki Streeter

In the artist's words:

Aki Streeter is a musician, promoter and producer from Klagenfurt. With the "Mad Multiverse" project, he organizes concerts and festivals at which international bands from the noise, punk and metal genres perform. The aim is to create disturbance in the audience through volume and atmosphere.

Aki plays in over 100 grindcore and noise projects, whose composition and level of activity vary greatly. Some of them are active with releases and gigs, others exist only for short sessions or single recordings.

He is a member of the band Heimwerker, which plays PAPP (post-apocalyptic provincial punk). He is also involved in Misanthropic Planet and many other projects whose names change frequently or are only temporary.

In addition to music, Aki is also active in film and series production. Together with BULDAM STUDIOS and DIE WAND STUDIOS, he produces experimental works that often oscillate between fiction, performance and documentary.

He regularly organizes art exhibitions that thematically deal with dirt, universes and body images.

Aki expresses a clear misanthropy. According to his own statement, he hates himself and humanity. He is convinced that the universe was created by a being called Dave on a laptop. Dave is said to live in a shared flat with the professor and a pineapple. This world view is reflected in many of his artistic works.

The focus of his work is on transgression, dissonance and the conscious rejection of classical aesthetic or moral categories.
