Andrei Irimia is a Romanian pianist and composer whose artistic identity represents a distinctive voice within the contemporary European neoclassical scene. His work moves fluidly between minimalist piano, cinematic string writing and subtle electronic textures, creating deeply introspective soundscapes that invite emotional immersion and reflection.

Over the past decade, Andrei Irimia has established himself as an artist with extensive international touring experience across Europe. His music explores themes of melancholy, vulnerability and inner transformation.

His debut solo album, Nuit Minimaliste (2019), paid tribute to French minimalist piano traditions, while his second album, All Strings Attached (2022), marked a significant artistic evolution, expanding his sonic language through richer textures and interdisciplinary influences.

A defining aspect of Andrei Irimia's artistic practice is the development of immersive, interdisciplinary performance formats. Moving beyond conventional concert models, he has created productions that integrate live piano and strings with theatrical storytelling, spoken word, lighting design and visual elements. These formats have been presented in concert halls, theatres and festivals across Europe, leading to consistent audience growth, sold-out performances and recognition.

One of his most emblematic projects, Lights & Shadows, exists both as a live performance format and as a newly released studio album. "Lights & Shadows", Andrei Irimia's latest album, has been launched internationally, marking a moment of artistic maturity and consolidating his international presence.

The album unfolds as an introspective and cinematic exploration, distilling emotional polarities into an essential and evocative soundscape, a meditation on light and shadow, fragility and inner tension.

Internationally, Andrei Irimia has performed in leading European venues such as Palau de la Música Catalana (Barcelona), Passionskirche and Heimathafen Neukölln (Berlin), La Scène Parisienne (Paris), Église Notre-Dame de Laeken (Brussels), World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens (London) and Pygmalion Theatre (Vienna). In 2023, he performed at the official opening of Timișoara - European Capital of Culture alongside Cristian Măcelaru and Joep Beving, and was the only Romanian artist invited to perform at Sziget Festival (Budapest).

In 2026, his international touring activity continues with confirmed concerts at some of Europe's most prestigious venues, including the Berliner Philharmonie in Berlin, the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, and the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, further consolidating his presence on the European contemporary and neoclassical music circuit.
