The Luxembourg singer-songwriter Georges Goerens aka Bartleby Delicate navigates his way through the streams of contemporary folk and loop-based electronic sounds with impressive ease - and with his very own sound.

Bartleby Delicate's lyrics are dedicated to his generation - the millennial generation. In the creation process of the songs on his first EP "Deadly Sadly Whatever" (ListenRecords, Berlin), for example, the phantom pains and contradictions that he and his peers have to endure and deal with played a major role for Goerens: How can I express myself artistically as a white cis man without taking space away from other, disadvantaged groups? What entitles me to speak and be heard and how do I deal with my own privileges in a reflective way?
