The Third*Places Archive collects
places like you!
Niche, idiosyncratic or everyday places. They exist
They exist in every part of the city; they make the neighborhood really special.
Munich is alive here.

Third places - this is not a concept, not a rule, but
a need and they have grown over time, created by the people you find there.
the people you find there. They don't exist a second time.
And yet they disappear, are displaced, give up.
When they go, emptiness remains. We want to create a living
archive of these places and make visible together what existed
existed, exists and should exist.

Your places are important. You remember a
third place that is no longer there? Do you know a place that is important
for your neighborhood, for yourself, for others? Do you have ideas for places
that this city is still missing? Do you want to get to know Munich and
get to know special people and places in Munich?
The archive tells places about their people, their atmosphere,
their objects. With the "cartography of things"
you can audiovisually record disappeared, existing and future places.
