Eddi Hüneke was born in London in 1971. He grew up in a music-making family and founded the Wise Guys together with four classmates in 1990.

Hundreds of thousands of fans came to love his singing and musicality as part of this Cologne-based a cappella band. The ensemble has won five gold records and an Echo with its witty vocal performance. And together they have rocked more than 3,000 concerts - the largest in front of 70,000 spectators.

From wise guy to pop songwriter

Eddi Hüneke has been a solo pop singer-songwriter since 2018. An approachable and captivating entertainer. A guy who gives us a subtle look at life. Who lets people be who they are. And who cheers them on and amuses them at the same time.

In addition to regular gigs, Hüneke travels all over Germany for living room concerts. "Performing at someone's home is always something special. I never know exactly what to expect beforehand: Sometimes I play in a courtyard in good weather, sometimes in a loft apartment, in a city villa or in an allotment garden association... I get in touch with the guests, get to know the people - and they get to know me. Then I make sure there's a good atmosphere!"

With pianist and stage partner Tobi Hebbelmann, he has been unleashing his very own dynamic between wit and finesse since 2018. All of his performances have one thing in common: Eddi's concerts are thought-provoking and inspiring, make you smile and are sometimes simply uproariously funny. With new songs, but also with hits from the first albums such as "Sansibar", "Alles wird gut" and "Das könnte euch so passen".

Eddi and his stage partner Tobi have been proving since 2020 at over 25 "interactive online concerts" that music can also be spontaneous and fun online.
