Ensemble hand werk

hand werk was founded in Cologne in 2011. The six-piece chamber music ensemble stands for sustainability and recycling as well as the highest artistic standards in the field of contemporary music. hand werk has performed at festivals such as the Wittener Tage, Darmstadt Summer Course, Bayreuth Festival, Ultraschall Berlin, NOW! Festival Essen, Acht Brücken Köln, impuls in Graz, Gaudeamus in Utrecht and Warschauer Herbst and has already produced several CDs. For the past six years, the ensemble has also organized the Cologne concert series HWxxC_ with four editions per year.
