In the artist's words:

Faquelage [faklaʒ] - the Leipzig trio came up with this French term to play big melodies with a small line-up. In their original compositions, the three young musicians travel to fantastic worlds and dreamscapes and redesign them through spontaneous improvisations as the mood takes them. They juggle with rhythms and styles from all over the world, intellectual demands and musical wit in an attempt to mediate between the opposing prejudices of "elevator music" and over-intellectualized elite music and to make a case for jazz and instrumental music.
