In the artist's words:

FLITTERN are now the Cologne duo Fabian Dellacher and Sebastian Riddle, who combine their punk socialization with contemporary pop and thus provide the soundtrack to the contradiction we call life.

Somewhere between "Wait, I know that!" and "Wow, that's new!", FLITTERN wrap their critical, even pleasantly self-critical lyrics in a grown-up version of pop-punk with a positive vibe, because now, when things are getting a bit dicey for punk in the face of an increasingly dystopian world, they don't want to become embittered in their niche.

The self-titled album released in fall 2022 on UNTER SCHAFEN RECORDS was not only well-reviewed without exception, but also set the path that FLITTERN are now consistently pursuing. In songs like "Willst du mit mir aussterben gehen?", "Wie Tetris" or "Song über fiktive Personen", a lot of distortion meets a pinch of autotune, which, admittedly, could sound really silly, but works really well here - on record, in streaming or live.

Speaking of live: Fabian and Sebastian get support from musician friends. Simply because it's even more fun.
