German Gents

The German Gents are an a cappella quartet from Berlin that emerged in 2018 from former singers of the Staats- und Domchor - one of the most renowned boys' choirs in Germany. Shortly after their formation, the four won 1st prize, the audience prize and two other special prizes at the International A Cappella Competition Leipzig 2019 in Leipzig!
On stage, they combine the charm of American classics from the 50s and 60s with the sparkling melodies of the golden 20s - and at the same time, with charm and esprit, they bridge the gap to the present day. Modern pop songs and even viral social media trends find their place with them, as does the tradition of romantic male choir music. The four singers know how to combine tradition and zeitgeist with wit, style and emotion, doing justice to their classical roots as well as their young age. The quality of their individual voices, their colorful harmony and rousing emotions inspire the audience - on international stages as well as online.
The German Gents are currently invited by numerous concert promoters and renowned festivals, including the Rheingau Music Festival, the Live From London Christmas Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. Further concerts take them all over Germany and Europe - with stops in cities such as Paris, Vienna and Luxembourg. A highlight of every season is the German Gents' atmospheric Christmas tour, during which they delight audiences throughout Germany with Christmas classics from all over the world, jazzy sounds and modern arrangements.
The German Gents are also creating a buzz on social media with their short videos and creative collaborations: over 900,000 fans already follow them on TikTok and Instagram, and their clips regularly achieve millions of views. With their unique arrangements - from classics to brand new hits - they reach an audience that goes far beyond the traditional a cappella scene. Their debut album "L.O.V.E." was released in 2023. Their second album with international Christmas tracks will be released in November 2025 - accompanied by a digital compilation of their most popular social media hits.
