deep strings / Jail Job Eve

deep strings are first prize winners at the Jazz & Blues Award Berlin and have performed at well-known festivals such as the Ostsee-Jazzfestival, the Thüringer Jazzmeile, the Jazzrally Düsseldorf and the Bachfest Leipzig. At their concerts, they often perform with renowned guests and are in demand as guest musicians themselves. They have already performed with the Amaryllis Quartet at the Heidelberger Frühling festival and made their Irish debut with the Vogler Quartet at the Drumcliffe Music Festival in Sligo.

"Jail Job Eve" is a female-fronted rock band that has been touring Germany for over eleven years. After their first release "Bird of Passage" in 2015, the album "The Misson" also received top reviews across Europe, earning the band a reputation as the "hope of the national newcomer scene" (eclipsed). The Osnabrück-based band set new standards with "Wildfire": the album, which was recorded live, presented them as a powerful rock machine. Since then, their sound has become harder, more experimental and more direct, also lyrically, with offensive references to social issues. On the upcoming album "Next Generation", singer Victoria Semel is once again convincing, supported by Benedikt Schlereth on guitar, Jens Niemann on Hammond organ as well as Tim Beckers (bass) and Josef Röhner (drums).
