Jaq is a promising newcomer from Hamburg who is finally taking the step from viral social media phenomenon to independent artist in 2025. He first gained attention with a minimalist piano format on Instagram, in which he presented his lyrics between coming-of-age, world-weariness and poetic everyday language in an intimate atmosphere. A steadily growing community quickly emerged that appreciates his reduced but deeply emotional way of writing and performing. As the son of a Frenchman and an Irishwoman, language has always been a formative part of Jaq's life. In his music, he condenses this multilingualism and cultural openness into a visual language that remains approachable and at the same time unfolds a special depth. His organic growth on social media led him early on into studio sessions with some of the most renowned producers in the German music landscape, including Miksu/Macloud, Florida Juicy, Lucry and Suena. 2025 will now see the release of his first fully fleshed-out singles, which will sharpen Jaq's identity in German-language pop-rap. Each release is accompanied by visual concepts and innovative ideas - from cinematic music videos and interactive social media campaigns to experimental elements such as temporary .WAV files or specially created mailbox campaigns. With this attitude, Jaq not only wants to position himself artistically, but also build a sustainable career that will go its own way with clear aesthetics and conceptual aspirations.
