A dash of rebellion à la Rio Reiser, paired with the poetry of the fragile emotional world of young adults who give themselves fully to the moment without losing themselves in the responsibilities of tomorrow. Hannes and Julian, aka JUDI&COCHO, embody the youthful “here and now” through their songs and capture all their impressions in powerful soundscapes: With delicate tones and epic arrangements, they’ve created their very own signature sound alongside lighthearted anthems.

On their debut EP “eigentlich ganz normal,” JUDI&COCHO now succeed in portraying all their facets and quirks, taking their listeners on a journey through their lives—through all the turmoil and inner conflicts that preoccupy a young person on a quest to find themselves. A colorful, emotionally charged bouquet of musical works with which JUDI&COCHO are setting a new milestone and aiming to shake up the German-language indie scene. Next spring, the duo and their band will embark on their first club tour, performing nine shows across Germany and Austria. They’ll be bringing not only their debut EP, “eigentlich ganz normal,” but also new songs from their second EP, set for release in March 2024.
