Jule Fuchs

In the artist's words:

I am Jule, freelance dancer, performer, choreographer and dance mediator in Hamburg. In 2020 I completed my Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Freiburg and subsequently did various dance trainings: at TIP (Freiburg), ANFIBIA (Bologna, It) and FAICC (Porto, Pt). As a dancer and performer I collaborate with international artists such as Babak Radmehr, Meghna Bhardwaj, Emilia Parol and Lubi Kimpanov. My performative, artistic and pedagogical interest lies in the profound connection between cultural anthropological research fields and anatomical & biomechanical principles. My movement style is strongly inspired by my background in contemporary dance technique, dance improvisation, Axis Syllabus, contact improvisation and somatic movement practices.
