Komplizen der Spielregeln concerts leave audiences open-mouthed and with the feeling of being addressed to the core. Singer, lyricist and frontman Tobias Ortmanns fascinates and irritates the audience in equal measure with his intense stage presence and performance. He sings, talks, moderates, shouts, thinks outside the box, sweats, rocks and lives through every single song. With Frank Nagel on bass and electronics and Volker Weide on guitar and beats, the Cologne-based trio has been producing independent music together for over 10 years now, which is able to pick you up on many levels. Electronic frictions, squeaky synths, pads, a preference for special sounds, lots of beats and unconventional songwriting characterize the band's musical output.
