Peter Schlagenbader

In the artist's words:

Born in 1953, at the same time as the Neue Wilde, he studied painting at the Berlin University of the Arts under Prof. Martin Engelmann, a representative of the Berlin Heftige Malerei at the time: Peter Schlangenbader. In 1980, the art critic Heinz Ohff called him the "first punk painter in Germany to go public" in the Tagesspiegel. To this day, he maintains this colorful impetus of the Berlin Expressionists - he has lost nothing.
