Lukas Moll

In the artist's words:

Lukas Moll grew up in Aachen and has been working as a visual artist since 2015. He has lived in Cologne since 2021 and regularly shows his work in solo and group exhibitions as well as at art fairs in Aachen, Cologne, Koblenz and Munich. He gained his first international experience in the Netherlands. In 2025, he was awarded the KÜFO Art Prize by the Zweibrüggen Castle Artists' Forum for Fine Arts.

As an artist, Moll focuses on the representation of queer themes and the exploration of identity and the experiences of LGBTIQ+ people in society. He consciously describes himself as a "queer artist" in order to adopt an inclusive perspective that goes beyond his personal sexual orientation. His figurative works in oil painting explore human emotions, inner vulnerability and strength, and tell stories that often remain invisible, especially those of queer people facing isolation and social exclusion.
