MAKAYABUNDO

In the artist's words:

MAKAYABUNDO is a multifaceted artist, who was born and raised in Wuppertal.

His creative journey started early. He was drawing as a kid, dancing in the late 2000s, and exploring basketball and music in the 2010s.

When someone asked him what he wanted to become, he always said that he wants to become an artist. Platforms like Tumblr and Instagram shaped his visual language and connected him to global subcultures.

In 2014, he started to release raw personal rap songs and mixtapes under his pseudonyms Augustó 327 and augustóras. but soon realized that he was made for more. So, he rebranded himself and began his journey as MAKAYABUNDO (in 2019).

Today, he stands for himself and curates, performs, builds spaces, and speaks through culture with his own collective called MAKAYABUNDO SOCIAL CLUB.

He is not finished yet and seeks for more.
