The hard-hitting lyrics are MELLER's trademark. She talks about pain and getting up again, about panic and aftercare. Her songs suck the listener in and spit them out again, from 0 to 100, MELLER's music is a nocturnal ride through the gloomy inner city - dark, urban and unembellished. An icy cold wind blows through your hair, while booming bass from the car speakers perfects the mood.

MELLER, who grew up in the rough streets of Hamburg and grew up in the vibrant capital Berlin, has used music as a survival strategy since her childhood. With her upright piano and writing lyrics and poems, she has made her way through hard times. She moved to Berlin alone at the age of 18 and dived headfirst into the creative scene, from one session to the next.

In MELLER's songs, there is no beating around the bush. A mix of digital coldness, the urge to escape perfectionism and the pitiful attempt to maintain a façade. MELLER's sound is a mix of fragile sounds and brute beats, complemented by their unique, deep spoken vocals. These contrasts make her music as multi-layered as she is. With lyrics that are like stabs to the heart and a mix of melancholy and thunderous beats, MELLER creates a new, progressive sound that redefines urban pop.
