Michael Lapper

In the artist's words:

For many years, artist Michael Lapper has been exploring the topic of the city and society, using Messestadt as an example. In 2013, the art project "wir hier / here we are" focused on the large Willy-Brandt-Platz and thus on questions of origin and integration. In 2019, "Kopfbaut" awoke the last public building from the airport's past, the Kopfbau, from its slumber. And "Timeline" 2023 told the story of the old Munich Airport through to the new district and encouraged people to think ahead.
