Mikis Wesensbitter worked for many years as an everyday helper. In the process, he met a wide variety of people. Now he tells their (and his) stories.

There is a fun-loving Reichsbahnerin from Karlshorst, a veteran who became a Union fan at 82, a teacher from Weißensee who has had enough of everyday life, a punk in crisis, a woman who is about to lose her memory and a mother in childbed with milk congestion.

These are stories of today and the past, of becoming and passing away, of finding and losing. To laugh and to cry.

Just the way life is.
