Over the course of its 70-year history, the Munich Radio Orchestra has repeatedly demonstrated its broad artistic spectrum and great versatility. From concertante opera performances with outstanding singers in the Sunday concerts and modern sacred music in the Paradisi gloria series to children's and youth concerts(classical music to amaze), entertaining theme evenings in the Wednesday concerts or symphonic border crossings in the direction of jazz, film music and crossover - the Munich Radio Orchestra always has its finger on the pulse! With concert series in Munich, regular appearances in the broadcasting area of Bayerischer Rundfunk and its presence at festivals and on the recording market, it enjoys a high international reputation. The chief conductor is Ivan Repušić from Croatia.
