My Ugly Clementine

My Ugly Clementine are three outstanding musicians in their own right: Sophie Lindinger, Mira Lu Kovacs and Nastasja Ronck.

Lindinger is part of the pop duo Leyya with producer Marco Kleebauer, Mira Lu Kovacs also fills concert halls as a solo guitarist and songwriter, Ronck plays with the Austrian indie sensation Sharktank.

Even before My Ugly Clementine had made a sound, the first show at Vienna's Rhiz was already sold out. After the band released their debut album "Vitamin C" in 2020, they went on to play festivals such as Primavera Sound in Barcelona, the Reeperbahn Festival and Eurosonic in Groningen. As if all that wasn't enough, My Ugly Clementine won the prestigious Impala Album of the Year Award with "Vitamin C". In 2022, the band also opened the Parcels' European tour.

Now "The Good Life" heralds a new chapter for the Viennese supergroup. The Austrians' second album will be released on 11.08.2023 and combines the signature sound of My Ugly Clementine with new soundscapes.
Distorted guitars and driving drum grooves join hands with calm and laid-back numbers. Garage rock mixes with indie and pop - we have rarely heard genres so multi-faceted.

The musicians also continue to develop lyrically, becoming even more direct in the process. On "The Good Life", My Ugly Clementine also convey feminist discourse, empowerment and equality as skillfully and powerfully as we are used to from them.

The tour accompanying the album is entitled "The Good Live". It is the Clementines' first Europe-wide tour with concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, the UK and Belgium.
