Red Mess

In the artist's words:

"With an instinctive desire for chaos, Red Mess is inspired by numerous bands and artists of the underground Brazilian scene that succeed in making dirty sounding records."
The trio was formed in 2013 in Londrina, Brazil, with Douglas (drums) and Thiago (guitar) having known each other since childhood, but with the addition of bassist Lucas, it took shape and became one of the most exciting bands of the Brazilian underground rock scene.
In 2017, RED MESS were invited to tour Brazil by Stoned Jesus (Ukraine). They are currently shifting their focus to Europe and want to gain a foothold here. Musically, the band moves between the fixed points of progressive and stoner rock. So far, they have released three EPs ("Crimson" 2014, "Drowning in Red" 2015, "Phantom Limb" 2022) and an album, "Into the Mess" 2017, all of which were released on the Brazilian label Abraxas Records. Now RED MESS are releasing their second album "Breathtaker" via All Good Clean Records (Norway) and will embark on their first European tour in fall 2022.
And above all live, RED MESS concerts are an impressive and very emotional experience. This is exactly what they wanted to capture on the recordings, and "Breathtaker" (2022) really manages to convey this energy. Producer Galego Teixeira visited numerous RED MESS concerts and tried to capture the raw sound of the band that he experienced in the boiling hot, tropical Brazilian bars.
