"Roy Bianco & Die Abbrunzati Boys is the most successful Italo pop group in Germany (and probably also in Italy)." The group was founded in 1982 by Roy Bianco (vocals) and Die Abbrunzati Boys (guitar, vocals) in Sirmione on Lake Garda. The early years of the pop duo are characterized by success in German-speaking countries. The group made an international appearance at the International Schlager Festival in Rio de Janeiro in 1984. During the same period, the two frontmen also meet the future members of their show band, Ralph Rubin (keys), Eisensepp (bass), Bungo Jonas (drums) and Blechkofler (trumpet), with whom RB&DAB usually perform live. After further successes, the group went quiet at the end of the 90s and disbanded in 1997. After a break of almost twenty years, the group announced their comeback in summer 2016. The long-awaited debut album "Greatest Hits" was released in March 2020. The accompanying tour through D/AT/CH was postponed to April/May 2022 due to the coronavirus crisis. In 2021/22, the band did not remain idle and built directly on existing successes. They released hits such as "Giro" and "Quanto Costa" or "Bella Napoli". Their second studio album "Mille Grazie" reached number one in the official German album charts in April 2022. Now "Kult", the final part of an overall artistic triptych, will be released on 31.05.24.

But the story continued after that, as the group set several new milestones in 2025.

On June 6, 2025, the band performed as Very Special Guest at the 40th Rock am Ring at the Nürburgring. Their performance opened the festival and was kept secret until the very end, causing great surprise and enthusiastic reactions. A few weeks later, on the evening of July 20, 2025, the band played at the Deichbrand Festival in front of a sold-out crowd of 60,000 and once again confirmed their reputation as a guarantee for atmosphere and great moments on the country's live stages.

A special collaboration followed in the same month. Haribo presented a special limited edition in cooperation with Roy Bianco and Die Abbrunzati Boys to mark the 25th anniversary of the Pico Balla variety. The accompanying advertising song was a specially adapted version of their song "Bella Napoli". This put them in a very small group, as only Adele and Linkin Park had worked with Haribo before them.

With their iconic wit, musical grandeur and unbroken enthusiasm, the most successful Italo pop group in Germany and probably also in Italy continues to fly high and shows that cult status is not a condition, but a promise.
