Sad music in a major key - STRAHLEMANN clothe the self-demands, external demands and contradictions of a whole young life in a cozy, wistful, yet somehow optimistic sound that is not too bad for the odd pop-along - and sing about feelings without douching. Or, to say it with Album of the Week: If "cuddly rock" didn't have such a terribly caustic connotation, it would be an apt description for the sound of STRAHLEMANN.
