THEATER DER KLÄNGE - Innovative music theater since 1987

Since its foundation in Düsseldorf in 1987, THEATER DER KLÄNGE has been passionately developing contemporary, multimedia stage forms for an interested audience. As a professional artists' theater, the ensemble is dedicated to developing innovative theatrical experiences.

The collective creative process is characteristic of theinterdisciplinary working method: dancers, actors and musicians work together with the director, choreographer, composer and media artists on a daily basis for months. This integrative, intermedia approach creates unique theatrical experiences with a focus on music theater.

Cultural heritage reinterpreted The ensemble engages intensively with cultural heritage - from Bauhaus and baroque theater forms to ancient comedy and modern theories.

Impressive track record since 1987: 30 different plays, over 650 performances, more than 100,000 spectators. Guest performances in 70 cities worldwide - from Berlin to New Delhi. Books, films, CDs and audio books have also been produced.

The theater is continuously supported by the city of Düsseldorf and the state of NRW.
