TOLD. Electropunk from Cologne

A trio from Mexico (guitar), Holland (vocals) and East Germany (beats/synths) came together in Cologne in 2022 and brought together many of their previous musical influences and visions from earlier bands.

The result is socially critical, English-language electropunk, sometimes aggressive and melancholic,

sometimes positive and melodic with a real party atmosphere.

Musically, rap, trap and a large portion of shoegaze sounds are also used time and again, as "electropunk" also describes the feeling and attitude and not just the style of the band.

"Sometimes sounds like La Dispute on trap beats."
