Looking back on a ten-year band history in your mid-twenties requires one thing above all: trust in each other. Flo Kiesling, Daniel Kotitschke and Jonas Schramm, together VAN HOLZEN, declare with a wink "I want to be young and stupid forever" on their fourth studio album"SOLANG DIE ERDE SICH DREHT" (release date: 12.09.25) and dedicate an album about growing up together or not wanting to grow up in the midst of chaos. About letting yourself fall and being caught. After three albums, numerous tours and growing older in the rock band construct, they have become sure of themselves in this very chaos.

After"Aus der Ferne", the last album released in 2021, they tried their hand at singles for the first time that are not chained to a complete work. In features with Mia Morgan and Dissy, VAN HOLZEN honed their skills with catchy hooks and less vague lyrics. This allowed the band to sound beyond the boundaries of their own genre for the first time in 2023. In the darkness associated with alternative rock, a light was kindled that soon illuminated the path to their fourth album.

Work on "SOLANG DIE ERDE SICH DREHT" began in October 2023 - first under the Greek sun, then in the 8sqm studio space in Berlin. After several sessions spread over the year 2024, the album was finally brought to Rotenburg an der Fulda in October, where it was produced in the Toolhouse Studio by kidney paradise and Flo Kiesling. Thanks in part to Kiesling's involvement in the production, VAN HOLZEN's work is now closer than ever.

"SOLANG DIE ERDE SICH DREHT" is an honest, therapeutic album with lyrics that are no longer too vague, but that all darkness is brighter and every setback less paralyzing as long as you go through life together. This feeling of togetherness also shines through to the audience and makes the trio's energetic concerts something special. From 06.11.25, the trio will embark on their next tour, which comprises 16 dates. And on stage and in the hall, they know that they couldn't be here without each other. "SOLANG DIE ERDE SICH DREHT" reaches out in words and sound: To the audience, to the best friends, to the top, to the light.
