On tour in Germany with new album

The indie sensation Wet Leg - founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers on the Isle of Wight - is releasing its second album "moisturizer" on 11 July. Backed by Ellis Durand (bass), Henry Holmes (drums) and Joshua Mobaraki (guitar, synths), the band is wilder, more playful and energetic than ever, capturing the raw live power honed by countless shows around the globe into a manifesto of euphoria.

Work on "moisturizer" began even before the success of their debut album. After worldwide tours, three Grammys, two Brit Awards and over 500 million streams, they returned to the studio with producer Dan Carey in March 2024 - and created a new musical statement together as a well-rehearsed quintet.

The result: an explosive mix of love songs and break-up anthems - honest, eccentric and full of live energy. The single "catch these fists" kicked things off on April 1st, a powerful dance-punk track whose video was shot by the band themselves on the Isle of Wight. The next single, "CPR", followed on May 27, giving a further insight into the current creative phase.

"moisturizer" is an album about love in all its facets - over-the-top, obsessive and a clear sign: Wet Leg are turning it up to louder, sharper, more uncompromising. And to everyone's delight, the band will be bringing their new album to German stages this November.
