Where We First Met

Where We First Met balance pop punk, alternative rock, and emo, always trying to find new ways to convey their introspective lyrics in their melodic and hooky music. The quartet's current line-up include singer Michael Lewash, guitarist Younes Hülse, bassist Leonard Gibalowski, and drummer Marcel Leuschner.

The group formed in Bonn, Germany, in 2021. In search of an original band name, the members came across the spot of their first meet-up during a music video shoot and settled on "Where We First Met". Citing influences like blink-182, Brand New, Sum 41, and Taking Back Sunday, Where We First Met started playing small shows in and around Bonn. The band released their first 7-song-EP "Life's Out To Get You" in 2022 and began recording songs for their first full-length release in late 2023. The album will be released in its entirety in March 2025, with one song to be released each month from June 2024.
