The Essen-based artist Yola first attracted attention in 2024 with her debut single "nimmerland" - a dreamy introduction to a world of music that she has continued to shape ever since. With songs such as "einseinsnull" and the emotional "briefe an meinen bruder", she demonstrates artistic depth, authenticity and a keen sense of language and atmosphere. Yola describes her music as "fairytale poetry" - a mixture of personal lyrics, spherical sounds and a voice that gets under your skin, and she has already performed live as a support act for artists such as JBS and Jonny Mahoro, as well as at unreleased Berlin and the renowned c/o Pop Festival. Another milestone: the feature with Bella Bazz, which has already recorded over 100,000 streams. A performance at the Kessel Festival has also been announced for summer 2025 - another step on the path of an artist who impresses with her strength and poetic depth.
