Today, Wimmer is represented throughout Munich and spoils its residents with fresh baked goods in over 55 branches. In their 4000 m² master bakery, fresh bread, rolls, pretzels and cake specialties are baked daily to delight the palate. At Wimmer, quality is not just a company philosophy, it's a matter of the spike! 🌾 Selected raw materials, traditional family recipes and craftsmanship form the basis for a diverse range of top-quality bakery products.
Munich pastry = pretzel?
When you think of Munich baked goods, the first thing that comes to mind is, of course, the pretzel. 🥨 But the Munich bakery trade has so much more to offer than just pretzels. The hand rolls from Wimmer, for example, are genuine Münchner Kindl:
In the true spirit of Munich's coziness, the Wimmer bakers use an extra-long dough process to ensure particularly wholesome, aromatic and simply delicious baked goods. What's more, just like Munich, the handmade rolls combine tradition and innovation. The hand rolls are still made by hand using traditional craftsmanship. At the same time, almost all varieties are vegan!
With 6 different varieties, the hand rolls are just as diverse as Munich itself. This makes them the perfect companion on your way through the multifaceted city. Whether you're having a snack in the beer garden or on the subway on the way to work - the hand rolls from the traditional Wimmer bakery provide moments of happiness in everyday life in the Isar metropolis.

The classic
The classic is a real all-rounder. Delicate and juicy, it can be enjoyed anytime and anywhere. Baked with French wheat and rye sourdough, however, it tastes particularly good at the end of the day on the Bordeaux square. Add some cheese, wine and good company and - voilà - a vacation in the south of France for the soul. 🍷🧀
The core
The hearty hand roll is a real powerhouse. With selected grains, carrots, buttermilk, quark and an impressive 16% protein content, it is the ideal energy boost. Whether you're jogging along the Isar, cycling in the English Garden or swimming in the Michaelibad - the Kernige provides the extra power you need. 💪🚴🏊♀️
The Styrian
The Styrian hand rolls with Austrian pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil are the perfect companion for your hiking trip to the Munich region. But even without an Alpine panorama, they promise pure enjoyment. ⛰️🥾
The peppery one
The Peppery is just the thing for you if you want a little more spiciness in your life. The finest black pepper meets a crispy, aromatic roll and creates a real explosion of flavor. Whether sweet or savory - this roll will give your palate a boost. And if you fancy more culinary adventures after eating the Pfeffrige, you can make further exciting culinary discoveries at the Viktualienmarkt . 💥🔥
The Mediterranean
The Mediterranean tastes like it has been kissed by the sun. Refined with the best dried rosemary and sprinkled with deliciously spicy sea salt with rosemary, this hand roll is perfect for a barbecue or a picnic by the lake. With the Mediterranean on your plate and your eyes closed, the gently lapping water almost sounds like the sea. 🐚☀️
The Sicilian
It is not for nothing that Munich is also known as the northernmost city in Italy. The Sicilian brings the taste of the Italian way of life to Bavaria with whole olives. It goes particularly well with a lunch break on Gärtnerplatz, which already exudes La Dolce Vita flair with its numerous idyllic cafés and restaurants.🫒✨
