Good & cheap food in the Univiertel-Munich - Rausgegangen

The location is perfect for LMU students: just drop out of the main building and you're sitting in the Taco Company. In addition to tacos, burritos and salads are also served here, prepared quickly and freshly in front of you. Tacos made from organic beef, chicken or veggie chicken are available from just 2.60 euros and burritos from 5.10 euros. And vegans can order Beyond Meat on their taco. Everyone else too, of course.

Don't be fooled by first impressions, there are real culinary delights to be discovered here. The snack bar can get full at lunchtime, so bring some time, it's worth it. At "Zum Koreaner", great importance is attached to the quality of the products, such as the meat, which is sourced from the Magg butcher's shop in Chiemgau, which in turn only works with regional farmers. You can get authentic, fresh Korean dishes here for as little as 6 euros. We recommend the pork belly, but be careful, it's spicy!

Fancy piadina, panini & foccacia? Then this little café on Karlstraße is the place for you. It's the perfect place for a lunch break because it's quick and, thanks to a few seats inside and small benches outside, it's still totally cozy and doesn't feel hectic at all. The prices for paninis here, for example, are between 4.20 and 5.90 euros.

Lo Studente is already well known to experienced students. Here you can get a very good wood-fired pizza and delicious fresh pasta for little money. The lunch menu starts at 6.90 euros. There is always a lot going on at Lo Studente, so bring some time with you. The best place to eat is in the sun, on the pizzeria's numerous outdoor seating areas. Or you can simply order your food to take away and sit on the meadows in the Kunstareal, around the Pinakotheken.

The Orange Box should be a place where everyone can find what they are looking for. Because it is a true snack heaven. The menu offers you good things from different countries to eat in or take away: Curries with fresh vegetables, dal (soup), glass noodle salads, grilled flatbreads with various fillings, sandwiches and leaf salad with a selection of toppings and dressings. Prices range from 4.90 euros (dal soup) to 9.60 euros (tuna taco rice).

There are two delicious pizzerias in Türkenstraße, both of which we would like to introduce to you. In addition to Lo Studente, we can also recommend Ciao Ragazzi. The dough for the pizzas here is made from Multiceriali flour, so the pizzas are practically healthy! You can get the changing pizza of the day for just 6.50 euros.

Well, strictly speaking, the Cantina Conviva is also a canteen, but a special canteen, a particularly tasty one! The Cantina Conviva is located somewhat inconspicuously in the right wing of the HFF main building. Don't worry if you're not studying at the HFF, because everyone is welcome. A main course here costs between 4 and 5 euros. It's best to come after 1 pm, when the queues are a little shorter. Incidentally, the canteen is run by the inclusive organization cba e. V.. People with and without disabilities cook fresh food here every day.

The canteens make a real effort to offer a varied menu, but there's one thing they really never have: kebabs! The kebab is the perfect lunch (and midnight) snack. Delicious, filling, inexpensive and not just for meat eaters. Türkitch offers you one of the best kebabs in the city right next to the university. With roasted vegetables, delicious sauces and colorful spices, you can enjoy halloumi, falafel and meat. Prices vary between 4-7 euros.
