Pride Month in Munich: Event tips around the CSD 2026
HELLO PRIDE MONTH 2026! 🌈
June is Pride Month - the month in which queer identities are visibly celebrated and equal rights and acceptance are championed at the same time. The CSD PolitParade on 27 June, whose origins go back to the Stonewall riots of 1969, is the heart of the event: a mixture of political demonstration and exuberant celebration that makes Munich's streets colorful and loud. ✊
There are many more queer events to discover all month long around CSD 2026! We've picked out a few special highlights for you: poetry, music, drag, parties, comedy and more. Here you can experience and support artists and cultural workers from the LGBTQAI+ community up close. 💖
And don't forget: Queer events take place every month. Queer life must be protected and celebrated every month. Queer visibility needs to exist beyond Pride Month. There are so many amazing cultural practitioners creating safe spaces for the community all year round. So we urge you to keep up to date even after CSD. ✨
