FREE & EASY Festival: Lostboi Lino, Mieze, and more

Well-known acts or up-and-comers—Lostboi Lino, Mieze, Schramm, and more: the FREE & EASY Festival offers music for every taste! Every year, Backstage hosts free concerts in both outdoor and indoor areas—ranging from indie, rock, and metal to hip-hop and electronic music. For 17 days, from July 24 to August 9, you’ll experience everything a music lover could wish for. 

Free rail bus concerts at the Minna Thiel

In the middle of Maxvorstadt, directly in front of the HFF, stands the Minna Thiel railcar. The rail bus concerts take place here regularly in summer. What's so great about the format? Close-by artists, varied music, a colorful location, a lovely audience - and all this for free in the fresh air. Go there and block out the hustle and bustle of the city!

Live @ROODY presents regional acts free of charge

The ROODY Tanzcafé brings fantastic local musicians to its small but charming stage in Giesing. Mnet Culture Beach at the Father Rhine Fountain Invites You to Open-Air Concerts and DJ Sets

One thing is clear: We love open-air events! If there’s one month that’s perfect for outdoor events, it’s August. And the perfect spot? The MnetCulture Beach at the Vater Rhein Fountain. With live concerts and DJ nights, it’ll give you that true vacation vibe —plus delicious drinks that you can really savor while lounging in deck chairs with sand between your toes. PHRE Festival: Experience live music at Import Export at a reasonable price

International, experimental, inspiring: At the PHRE Festival, artists from the local area and around the world come to Import Export to sweep you away with unique sounds. Here, you’ll discover trends in contemporary music and can look forward to a variety of live concerts over the course of three weeks! While they aren’t free, they’ve still made it onto this list. That’s because the prices are super affordable—and what you get in return is an unbeatable deal. A ticket costs less than €17 per night . If you get the PHRE Pass, you’ll pay a total of €60 for five nights—that’s just €12 per night. We think it’s totally worth it!
