In the organizer's words:

An extraordinary evening in the spirit of charity with top-class artists on stage and illustrious names in the audience: for the 16th time, the German AIDS Foundation and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein are inviting guests to the gala at the Düsseldorf Opera House. Guests can expect a brilliant opera program and an atmospheric evening under the patronage of Düsseldorf's Lord Mayor Dr. Stephan Keller. The evening will once again be hosted by the well-known television presenter Wolfram Kons. All artists will waive their fees so that the net proceeds will benefit the work for people with HIV and Aids, which is particularly important in these times as major donor countries are increasingly withdrawing from international work.

Buying a ticket and making a donation actively supports the important work of helping people with HIV/AIDS. With VIP tickets, the gala becomes an all-round special event, with the best seats at the gala concert and an exclusive dinner with the artists and guests of honor at the event afterwards.
