In the organizer's words:
What remains of an artist's life? How does everyday studio life become a piece of urban history? And why is it worth taking a closer look? The Mannheim Artists' Legacies Foundation (KNMA) has been committed to preserving and making visible the artistic heritage of the city of Mannheim since 2005. To mark its 20th anniversary, the exhibition from June 13 to July 26, 2025 will show selected works from 16 estates and one bequest of 20th century Mannheim artists. The exhibition provides exciting insights into the diversity of local art and the cultural history of the city.
