20 years of NACHTFOYER at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf!

Our guest is the artist Nicola Schrudde, who started it all back then. The artist will present her latest publication and give us an insight into her work. There will also be a book table where you can browse through 20 years of NACHTFOYER. Nicola Schrudde's perpetual interest in the perception of nature is of crucial relevance today - especially in light of the increasing awareness of its extremely fragile complexity. For Nicola Schrudde, landscape is the tangible image of nature, the visual platform on which she works as a sculptor with finely balanced spatial installations. Nature and architecture are brought into an associative and poetic relationship. Movement in space and the passing of time are always considered.

This monograph presents her work in a variety of contexts. It goes back to the late 1980s and, with 208 pages and an extensive illustrated section, brings together under one roof several authors who have commented on Nicola Schrudde's exhibitions, such as Penelope Curtis, Mel Gooding, Thomas Hirsch, Heinz-Norbert Jocks, Elke Kania, Nadia Ismail, Friedrich Meschede, Sabine Elsa Müller and Ludwig Seyfarth, who co-edited this book with her.
