Native Young

Beginning in Cape Town as a home recording experiment for Yannick - Native Young has transformed into a collective of rotating talent across Africa and Europe that performs in various powerful set ups. A fusion of anthemic uplifting vocals, indie electronica and raw African rhythm - their live show is nothing short of spectacular. Recent accolades include over 1.8M streams on Spotify for 2019, A SAMA (South African Music Award) for ‘Best Alternative Album’ with their debut album ‘Kings’, smash single ‘Erase’ remixed by Black Motion coming in at #1 on the 5fm dance charts in South Africa and playing stand out sets at international festivals Fusion (Germany) and Lake of Stars (Malawi).

As for the future, Native Young will be releasing a brand new single entitled ‘ZOLA’  in spring 2020 and will be promoting this exciting new release in Europe with an exclusive acoustic duo tour consisting of Yannick Wilde and Alejandro Serra -  the two founding members of the South African collective. The storytellers will celebrate their brotherhood with a stripped down show focused on raw emotion, infectious melody and African rhythm. Expect to laugh, dance, cry and sing during this captivating performance.
