In the organizer's words:

Since mid-July 2025, the Förderverein Filmkultur has been offering workshops in which young people and children aged 10 and over can create a fictional "Lokalzeit Beuel". The focus is on the topics of climate, sustainability and the environment in Bonn-Beuel - as seen through the eyes of children and young people. Working in two age groups under the motto "2035 - and then what?", participants will take a critical look at their environment and changes caused by man-made climate change using local points of reference in Beuel - for example at the Schifferverein and the Beueler Heimatmuseum. Under professional guidance, they create their own short films, which are then put together into a fictional television program.

The workshop participants become little reporters themselves and learn everything about research, conducting interviews, camera, copywriting, editing and presenting!
