20s Partner-Charleston-Workshop

Do you love the music of the 1920s and the aesthetic of the dances from that era? Great! Shake off the dust of everyday life and join us as we dive into the wonderful world of swing dancing! In this workshop, you’ll learn the basics of the 1920s Partner Charleston—with its signature kicks and playful interaction between partners.

The workshop is open to anyone who wants to learn this easy-to-master swing dance or expand their repertoire of swing dances. Together, we’ll work on the basics, simple figures, and the interplay between leading and following—always with a focus on enjoying the movement and set to the perfect swing music.

•  Leading & Following as a couple
•  Tips for smooth and relaxed dancing

You can participate alone or with a dance partner. If possible, we’ll switch partners regularly during the workshop.
